Travel Grants

The UWWG has a limited number for travel grants to support conference attendance by students, early career professionals, and international participants. We will award 8-12 grants ranging in value from $500 to $1,000 based on merit and expressed need. We will prioritize applicants (1) who will be presenting at the conference, (2) who have financial need, (3) who are UWWG or TWS members, and (4) whose career goals align with the conference (i.e., ecology and management in urban ecosystems).

Applications are due by October 15th, 2024 and awardees will be notified in November. Award checks will be physically given to awardees at the conference in June. Recipients of the grant must attend the conference or forfeit the grant money. If you have any questions about travel grants, please email Jason Luscier at lusciejd@lemoyne.edu with “IUWC Travel Grant” in the subject line.
